What can we say about Captain Dixon? He has been serving this department for 59 years. His passion for this department is undeniable. He retired in 2015 but never really hung up his bunker boots. After Lt Babacock stepped down to take a fulltime firefighter job in a another state, Dixon stepped right back in at the Parshall Station. His wife Carolyn and himself donated the funds to replace and build station 2 in Parshall. It is officially the Ellison Dixon Station.
